The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2020 has been postponed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The JEE Main exam which is conducted for admission to IITs and NITs engineering colleges was postponed on Wednesday in view of coronavirus.
Here’s what NTA official said:
” The JEE-Main exam has been postponed. The new date will be decided in accordance with the board exams schedule and other competitive exams to ensure there is no clash,” a senior NTA official said.”
JEE (Main) 2020 exam date:
As reported by PTI, the NTA (JEE) Main 2020 examination was earlier scheduled to be held from April 5 to April 11. The first JEE (Main) 2020 was held in January 2020 whereas the second will be held in April, 2020.
The JEE (Main) 2020 will be conducted in the following modes:
a) BArch: Mathematics- Part I and Aptitude Test-Part II in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test -Part III in “Pen and Paper Based” (offline) mode to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.
b) BPlanning: Mathematics- Part I, Aptitude Test-Part II and Planning Based Questions-Part III in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only
